Ginna began playing violin at 5 years old. She is classically trained and spent much of her teenage years playing in orchestras and chamber groups around the country. Notably, she was the Concertmaster of the St. Louis Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as the National High School Honors Orchestra. At Yale, she was a member of the Yale Symphony Orchestra, which performed at Carnegie Hall in April 2016.

She is now a professional recording artist and performer in New York City, and along with classical and musical theater, enjoys playing pop, rock, and fiddle.
